INTERNATIONAL WINTER SCHOOL "CORPORATE SECURITY AND PROTECTION" WAS COMPLETED

On the day 18.02.2017. International winter school entitled "Corporate security and protection" was completed. Winter School was attended by more than 40 professionals in the field of security and safety at work, the volunteers of the NGO sector, as well as students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia and Kosovo.
The organizers of the international winter school were the Faculty of Criminology and Security Studies of the University of Sarajevo and the University of Applied Sciences Velika Gorica from Croatia. Strategic partners in this project are Microsoft Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Agency for the protection of people and property DSC. Also, the partners in the implementation of the program are the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federal Administration of Civil Protection, Chamber of Economy of Sarajevo Canton, JKP ZOI 84, the hotel "Maršal", IPA Sarajevo, magazine A & S Adria.
Also, the partners in the implementation of this program are Mining, Geology and Civil Engineering Faculty, University of Tuzla and College "CEPS - Center for Business Studies" Kiseljak.
Upon completion of the program of lifelong learning, participants are able to understand the process of managing the system of safety and security in the public and private sector of security, depending on the cause and place of origin. Students are trained for understanding, organizing, preparing and actions during the crisis as an important factor in decision making.
Participants were assigned with the Certificate of the "Faculty of Criminalistics, Criminology and Security Studies" of the University of Sarajevo and certificate certifying that the student has fulfilled all obligations under the program of the International Winter School, which is issued by the University of Applied Sciences from Velika Gorica and carries 3 ECTS credits.
