On Tuesday, May 17, 2022, a conference on topic "The Exchange of Practices in Higher Education" was held at the University College „CEPS-Center for Business Studies“ in Kiseljak. The participants of the conference were representatives of various higher education institutions from Spain, Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The purpose of the conference was to exchange experiences from higher education institutions, through the presentation of teaching and extracurricular activities, forms of teaching, stimulation of students and staff as well as potential opportunities for cooperation in some joint activities.
After presentations and discussions, the following conclusions were reached:
- A common challenge for all institutions is the affirmation of students to get involved in certain regular educational and extracurricular activities;
- At the international level, there is always the problem of language barriers, ie poor knowledge of English by both students and professors;
- There is a possibility of cooperation between the institutions that attended the conference through a virtual exchange of lectures, ie the possibility for teachers to hold one lecture at another institution during the semester;
- Opportunity for students to listen to online lectures (for which they show interest) at other higher education institutions;
- Higher education institutions will adopt and implement some of the good practices presented during the conference.
The organizers of this conference were the University College "CEPS-Center for Business Studies" Kiseljak and the College "Logos Center" Mostar.
