IMPLEMENTATION OF ERASMUS+ STAFF MOBILITY WITH HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS FROM SPAIN

Bakir Čičak, a member of the teaching staff of the University College “CEPS – Center for Business Studies” Kiseljak, participated in an Erasmus+ staff mobility within the international Staff Week entitled EthicalAIthon, held from 25 to 27 May 2026 at IES Abastos in Valencia, Spain. The mobility programme focused on the ethical aspects of artificial intelligence, its international regulation, sustainability, and the development of innovative solutions through teamwork in an international environment. During the three-day programme, participants attended expert lectures on the EthicalAI project, international AI regulation, and the application of AI in sustainable development, and took part in the practical EthicalAIthon process, which included the identification of ethical risks, the development of disruptive ideas, and the preparation of operational solutions with communication and implementation plans. The mobility contributed to strengthening international cooperation, exchanging good practices, and enhancing the competencies of CEPS teaching staff in the fields of AI ethics, innovation, and sustainable education.
From 20 July 2026 to 24 July 2026, the University College “CEPS – Center for Business Studies” Kiseljak hosted Maria Pilar Piay Pombo, Director of the higher education institution IES Escolas Proval from Pontevedra, Spain, within the Erasmus+ programme. During the mobility, meetings were held with the academic and administrative staff of CEPS, focusing on the exchange of good practices related to teaching methods, digital tools, and cooperation with industry in the fields of energy and technology, as well as on opportunities for further development of international cooperation between the two institutions. Special attention was given to the possibilities of organizing student internships and strengthening the links between higher education and the labour market. In addition, CEPS student Dario Šušnja shared his Erasmus+ experience, highlighting the importance of international mobility for the personal, academic, and professional development of students.
