As part of the ERASMUS+ mobility program, Elma Rožajac, a fourth year nursing student at CEPS, had the opportunity to further develop her knowledge and skills through a two month professional internship at the Zagreb County Health Center. The mobility was implemented in cooperation with the partner institution, University of Applied Sciences Ivanić-Grad and the internship included work in various organizational units of primary health care. During her stay, Elma was involved in the daily work of the health team, through which she gained new practical experience, learned about different ways of working and further improved her professional knowledge. She shared her experience, impressions and what this ERASMUS+ mobility brought her below.

My ERASMUS+ experience began on May 10, 2026. As part of my internship, I spent two months at the Ivanić-Grad Health Center, where I had the opportunity to combine theoretical knowledge with practical work. During my internship, I went through several different departments, including general outpatient clinic, surgery, community service, pediatrics and gynecology. Through my daily work, with the support of wonderful people, I had the opportunity to learn a lot, improve my skills and get to know the way the healthcare team works. I am very satisfied with the overall experience and am grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in this mobility. I believe that the knowledge and experience I gained will be of great help to me in my future work. Many thanks to CEPS, mentors and healthcare professionals for their patience, help and knowledge transfer. One experience is over, but many new knowledge and memories remain for a lifetime.
