Today (May 13, 2023) in the premises of the University College "CEPS-Center for Business Studies" Kiseljak, a free blood pressure and blood sugar measurement campaign was held, which primarily gathered students of the Nursing study program, as well as Physiotherapy, and Sanitary Engineering, and also teachers from the study program Health Studies, Prof. Dr. Adnan Dizdar, Prof. VŠ Irmelina Karić, and Pred. VŠ Mateo Vukoja. International Nurses Day was celebrated through this event and activities.
The topic of this year's celebration was "Our nurses - Our Future.”, which highlighted the necessity of action for nursing to face global health challenges and improve health for all.
"I emphasize that CEPS invests significant efforts in the development of nursing, but also of other study programs, which includes the implementation of the Project of equipping a modern health care cabinet at the University College CEPS Kiseljak" said doc. dr. Mirzo Selimić, director of the University College.
Head of the project of equipping a modern health care cabinet Pred. VŠ Mateo Vukoja stressed that the nursing workforce is recognized as a vital workforce in every healthcare system and in the world, and by equipping a modern healthcare cabinet, our goal is to raise the quality of education in the study program Health Studies through theoretical and practical teaching, which will be unconditionally available to all current and future students of the University College CEPS Kiseljak.
The measurement campaign was attended by a large number of students from all study programs as well as employees of the University College "CEPS-Center for Business Studies" Kiseljak. In the end, we prepared a healthy refreshments in the form of fruit salad for the curious and "the bravest".
