University College „ Center for Business Studies“ in Kiseljak , together with partner companies Hotel Bank Kiseljak and Transagent d.o.o. Sarajevo, facilitated Erasmus+ internships for students David from IES Ribeira do Louro in Porriña, Vigo, and Pol from Institut Jaume Mimó in Cerdanyola del Vallès, Barcelona .
David spent three months at Hotel Bank in Kiseljak, where he performed administrative and accounting tasks. Just before returning to Spain, he shared: “From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed by everyone. The people I spent my days with, especially those I saw every day at work, will be what I miss the most. The anticipation came when I thought about my friends, family, and homeland. There is a Galician word ‘morriña,’ which means homesickness, and that is something deeply rooted in me. In the end, I will really miss Kiseljak, and I hope to return one day.”
On the other hand, Pol completed his internship at Transagent d.o.o. Sarajevo, working on logistics management, customs document preparation, transportation organization, and payment tracking. His experience is as follows: “My three-month Erasmus stay in Sarajevo was a valuable and enriching experience. During my stay, I had the opportunity to discover a new culture and meet great people. I also adapted to a different way of life in this city. Erasmus offered me a mix of history, traditions, and a unique atmosphere. The experience helped me grow as a person and develop new skills, such as adaptability and independence. I also had the chance to enjoy everything that everyone, my employer and friends, did for me. Overall, this Erasmus stay was an unforgettable experience that allowed me to broaden my horizons. I am truly grateful to everyone who made this opportunity enjoyable, and I hope to return to Bosnia and Herzegovina soon.”
The students had the opportunity to explore cultural and sports activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
