The summer semester of the 2024/2025 academic year began with a large number of international activities at University College "CEPS-Center for Business Studies" Kiseljak.
University College "CEPS-Center for Business Studies" Kiseljak hosted Professor Ángel Almodóvar from the partner higher education institution CIPFP Luis Suñer Sanchis from Alzira (Valencia), Spain, as part of the ERASMUS+ mobility program. During the meeting with Professor Ángel, CEPS staff had the opportunity to discuss the continuation of existing and development of new forms of cooperation with colleagues from CIPFP Luis Suñer Sanchis, with a special emphasis on applying to the next call for ERASMUS+ capacity building projects. The meeting was attended by Prof. VŠ Nermin Palić, head of the Traffic Engineering study program, Pred. VŠ Dario Marušić, head of the Energetics study program, Pred. VŠ Semir Oglečevac, head of the Occupational Health and Safety fire protection and Pred. VŠ Stjepan Stanić, coordinator of the international relations office .
Along with Professor Ángel, five students arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina to do their ERASMUS+ student internships in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Three students, Francisco, Diego and Jonathan, will do their internships in shipping companies in Sarajevo, while two students, Angel and Carles, will do their internships in the International Relations and Career Development Office at CEPS.
In addition to Ángel and Carles, student Elif Ceren, who comes from Turkey and the partner institution Maltepe University, will also be doing her internship at International Relations and Career Development Office at CEPS.
During their work in the Office for International Relations and Career Development, students will gain significant skills in the field of developing international cooperation with other higher education institutions. During their short stay in Bosnia and Herzegovina, students participated in a workshop within the 1FUTURE project and enjoyed the cultural heritage of the capital city Sarajevo. This Erasmus+ experience will contribute to the personal and professional development of exchange students at CEPS, as well as CEPS staff, who will gain new knowledge about other countries and cultures.
