ERASMUS+ EXPERIENCE OF STUDENT KENAN ČOLAKOVIĆ AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SEVILLE (SPAIN)

A student of the Information Technology study program, Kenan Čolaković, is during the summer semester of the academic 2024/2025.year through ERASMUS+ student mobility stayed in Seville, where University College CEPS Kiseljak in cooperation with the University of Seville (Spain), provided him with a student exchange. We share his experience:
„It was with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I welcomed the opportunity to spend five months in Spain, where I studied Information Technology at the Universidad de Sevilla during the summer semester. This student exchange was an incredible opportunity to advance my knowledge, get to know a new culture, and gain experiences that will stay with me for the rest of my life.
Thanks to the ERASMUS+ project, I was able to live and study in Seville completely free. All expenses were covered by the European Union, which allowed me to dedicate myself to studying and exploring one of the most beautiful cities in Spain.
The study experience was extremely high quality and useful. I learned a lot in the field of information technology, and the curriculum was adapted to the modern needs of the labor market. The faculty staff was extremely kind, always available and ready to help at any time.
During my stay in Seville, I made many friends, not only with colleagues from Spain, but also from many other countries. All these people are part of my life today, and conversations and time spent with them enriched my thinking and broadened my horizons. Everyday life in Seville was very pleasant. Public transport is well organized. I had the opportunity to learn more about the history of Seville, a city that exudes a rich past, architecture and tradition. I would like to single out two major events that I attended: Feria de Abril (April Fair) and Semana Santa (Holy Week).
I am returning home with many beautiful memories, newly acquired knowledge and friendships that will last a lifetime. I sincerely thank the management of the CEPS, as well as the International Relations Office, for the opportunity to be a part of this program and gain valuable knowledge in the field of IT. This was a wonderful life experience that I will carry in my heart for a long time. Erasmus+ student exchange is something I would sincerely recommend to every student!“
