A student of the Information Technology study program, Nejra Rizvanović, spent the summer semester of the academic year 2024/2025. in Zagreb through the ERASMUS+ program, where CEPS, in cooperation with Vsite, provided her with a student exchange. We are sharing her experience:
"As part of a student exchange, I had the opportunity to spend five unforgettable months in Zagreb, where I attended the Polytechnic of Contemporary Information Technologies – Vsite. This experience was extremely useful, inspiring and full of positive experiences that I will remember for the rest of my life. Zagreb delighted me with its diversity and pleasant people. The city is lively, full of interesting content, and the people are warm and open. Zagreb is an ideal city for students, big enough to offer everything you need, yet compact enough to feel at home.
The professors and colleagues at Vsite were open, supportive and very accommodating, which made it easier for me to adapt to the new environment. In addition to the academic part, the exchange also provided me with numerous opportunities for personal development, made new friends and had the opportunity to experience different cultures and customs. We organized joint outings, excursions and workshops that further enriched my experience.
The exchange taught me how to be more independent, resourceful and open to new challenges. The experience of living and studying in another city helped me step out of my comfort zone and develop in every sense as a student and as a person. That's why I recommend that everyone who has the opportunity apply for a student exchange. At least once in your life you should go somewhere, get to know a different environment, a different learning style and new people. It's an experience that changes your perspective, broadens your horizons and stays with you forever.“
