From March 31 to April 4, 2025, the University College “CEPS – Center for Business Studies” Kiseljak welcomed four professors from partner higher education institutions IES Chan do Monte (Marín, Galicia) and IES Gregorio Prieto (Valdepeñas), Spain , as part of the Erasmus+ staff mobility programme.

During their visit, a range of activities was organized for the guest professors. They were first introduced to the work and activities of CEPS through a presentation, followed by a tour of the school’s facilities, including classrooms for practical training. As part of the cultural programme, a visit was also organized to the Church of St. Elijah the Prophet in Kiseljak.

On the following day, visiting professors and Erasmus+ exchange students presented their home institutions. Additionally, Prof. Nermin Palić held a workshop on applying for Erasmus+ and Horizon projects and showcased best practices and ongoing activities from projects in which CEPS is a partner (1FUTURE, GROWTH,SEE-GL, CORE-ED ACADEMY, SKILLS2SUSTAIN, and others).

On the final day of the visit, guests toured the EPS Laštro company in Kreševo — the largest producer of expanded polystyrene (styrofoam) in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a leader in innovation and technological development in façade systems. Alongside the Spanish guests, Erasmus+ students from Turkey (Maltepe University) and Spain (CIPFP Luis Suñer Sanchis from Alzira, Valencia) also participated. Representatives of EPS Laštro gave the visitors a warm and friendly welcome.

After the company visit, a meeting was held at CEPS to discuss future steps for collaboration with partner institutions, as well as opportunities for applying to new capacity-building projects.

To conclude, one particularly valuable experience from this mobility comes from the perspective of Professor Antonia from IES Gregorio Prieto. Her reflection on the stay at CEPS is shared in full below:

“Our visit to CEPS University in Kiseljak (Bosnia and Herzegovina) immersed us in a truly impressive educational environment. Its modern facilities are not simply learning spaces, but true "laboratories" where tomorrow's professional talent is forged.

What captivated us most was CEPS' practical approach: each project, methodology, and resource is meticulously designed to train professionals who will excel in today's competitive job market.

Particularly noteworthy is how the university creates an environment where both national and international students find exactly what they need for their professional growth. Internationalization here is not just a label, but a reality experienced in every corner of the campus, preparing students for a borderless working world.

We coincided with other professors and students on internships, creating a dynamic exchange atmosphere where numerous ideas for future collaborations emerged. These connections, along with immersion in the rich Bosnian culture, completed a truly enriching experience.

We returned inspired and with the certainty of having found an ideal partner that shares our vision: preparing well-rounded professionals, capable and ready to shine in their careers. We thank the Erasmus program and the consortium for this valuable opportunity that will undoubtedly mark a before and after in our professional trajectory.”
