The University College "CEPS Center for Business Studies" in Kiseljak , together with the partner company Interšped Logistic d. o. o. organized a student internship for students from CIPFP Luis Suñer Sanchis .

The company Interšped d.o.o. Sarajevo was founded in 1948. Interšped's mission is to provide high quality logistics and forwarding services that support the dynamic economic activity of clients. The company's goal is to be a leading supplier of logistics services on the domestic market, providing clients with added value, all with the help of innovative logistics process management systems.

CEPS had a major role in the merger of Interšped Logistics d.o.o. and students of the higher education institution CIPFP Luis Suñer Sanchis . On the basis of the signed agreement on cooperation with the company and activities through the 1FUTURE platform, internships were made possible for three students. Students Diego, Jonathan and Francisco spent three months gaining valuable knowledge and skills that they will be able to apply in their future work. You can read about the students' experiences below.

DIEGO:

„My experience here has been very good since the first day. One week after we arrived, the company staff welcomed us and explained the schedule we were going to follow. They showed us different situations that can happen in a transport and logistics company at the international level. Everyone in the company treated us very well. Also, the help from Nermin and Stjepan was very good. Since we arrived, they have been in contact with us and answered all our questions. The visit to CEPS was also very nice. They gave us a presentation about the CEPS, and then we visited the classrooms and saw the new technology they use. During the three months, we learned how to do exports and imports from any European country. They also taught us how to organize the work. People in Sarajevo seem very friendly.

Finally, I want to say that we had a lot of free time to travel during these three months. One weekend, my classmate and I went to Berlin (Germany), and we had a great time. I want to say thank you to all the people in the company, to Nermin and to Stjepan, for making this experience possible and for making it one of the best of my life.“

JONATHAN:

„My name is Jonathan Medina. Together with my collegues from Luis Suñer Sanchis , we have spent three wonderful months in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We came here to complete the practical part of our studies, and we have not only learned more about our field, but also discovered and enjoyed the culture and traditions of Bosnia. About the company, Interšped Logistics d. o. o. , it has been a very good and rewarding experience. They shared all their knowledge and way of working with us without any problem. We had the opportunity to learn how an international transport company works from a close and friendly point of view. From the beginning, they were always there for us if we had any questions or didn’t understand something, they were happy to explain it to us. They didn’t just teach us theory, they also gave us the chance to take part in the company’s operations. Thanks to that, we were able to strengthen many of the technical skills we learned at our school.

Another thing I improved during this mobility was my English fluency. Sarajevo also surprised me with its cultural and religious diversity. Even though many cultures live together, there is a peaceful and calm atmosphere that I found really beautiful. Most people spoke English, and those who didn’t were still kind and patient when talking with us.

In Bosnia I liked rich gastronomy, natural beauty and culture of people. We didn’t stay only in Sarajevo. We spend some time also in Kiseljak. Thanks to our coordinator Nermin, we also visited the CEPS, where we learned about their study programs. I don’t rule out studying at CEPS in the future. We also visited beautiful natural places like Bosnia Spring and Trebević, where we saw the monuments from the Winter Olympic Games. Without a doubt, I have thought many times that it wouldn’t be a bad idea to come and work in Sarajevo once I finish my studies.

In conclusion, this ERASMUS+ mobility in Sarajevo has gone beyond all my expectations, both professionally and personally. I leave with new knowledge about international trade and logistics, and also a deep admiration for the culture, the people, and the lifestyle of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I’m very thankful for the welcome we received from Interšped Logistic d. o. o. and from everyone who made this experience possible, especially our coordinator Nermin, who always looked after us. This mobility has been a turning point in my formation and made me seriously consider coming back to Sarajevo, maybe to work or to continue studying. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this experience unforgettable.“

FRANCISCO:

„My name is Francisco Carrasco Gonzalez, and I am a student at CIPFP Luis Suñer , located in the town of Alzira, Valencia Spain. My ERASMUS+ mobility experience began in March in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with my Erasmus participants, Jonathan and Diego. Our internship company is called Interšped Logistics, a company that manages the entire logistics process in Bosnia and Herzegovina. There, we met our coworkers Asima and Edna, with whom we´ve organized a few meetups.

We visited CEPS in April. It is a new and highly technological university located in Kiseljak. We visited it with the help of Nermin and Stjepan, who gave us a tour and introduced us to the institution. In Sarajevo we also visited the Vrelo Bosne Spring, Sarajevo Tunnel and Old bridge in Mostar. It´s worth noting that Sarajevo is very well connected, as it has a tram system, taxis, bus lines, and even train service.

My first impression upon arriving in Bosnia Herzegovina was very positive. It is a country wita a loto f natural beuty. Another highlight is the price difference and food quality compared to Spain. The food is better quality and prices are considerably lower. In conclusion Bosnia and Herzegovina is a 100% recommended destination. I highly recommend its cuisine, culture, and the discipline of its people. It´s a great experience if you want to enjoy beautiful landscapes, a welcoming environment, and friendly treatment.

We would like to thank the management of the company Interšped Logistic d. o. o .. Sarajevo, and especially the director Elma Plasto Plećan, who made it possible to implement this practice.“
