INCLUSION OF THE "SOCIAL AND TECHNICAL RESEARCH" JOURNAL IN THE INTERNATIONAL EBSCO BASE

University College "CEPS-Center for Business Studies" Kiseljak has published the journal „Social and Technical Research“ since 2015. On an annual basis, 2 journals are published, and 16 issues with 232 scientific research and professional papers have been published to date. The journal provides an ideal opportunity for authors to articulate and present their scientific knowledge with the aim of extending the existing knowledge in these areas. It provides an opportunity for young authors at the beginning of their careers who want to gain scientific and research recognition both within the domestic and the international scientific community.
This effort and commitment of the University College CEPS Kiseljak and editorial board members were rewarded by the EBSCO Editorial Board in the USA, which has nominated the journal for inclusion in the international scientific EBSCO full-text database. Director of the University College CEPS Assoc. Dr. Mirzo Selimić and President of EBSCO Publishing, Inc. Tim Collins have officially signed a licensing agreement including the journal „Social and Technical Research“ in EBSCO´s international research collections. All articles published so far will be found in the mentioned database. Such license agreement has already been signed with more than 18 000 academic publishers around the world.
Partnering with EBSCO provides the opportunity to increase higher visibility of our journal (IF) and authors (citations), as well as to enhance even more the overall brand recognition of University College CEPS Kiseljak. In addition, the journal will be available to students around the world, who will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the content and be able to use the acquired information during their curricular and extracurricular activities. EBSCO´s academic databases have been used as a premium platform for a keyword search at more than 130 000 academic libraries, universities and research institutions worldwide.
