On April 24, 2025, University College “CEPS – Center for Business Studies” Kiseljak organized a Green Innovation Hackathon as part of the GROWTH project task T5.7. The event gathered 29 students in 10 teams, guided by four CEPS professors, to develop creative sustainability solutions for the campus.
Under the theme Green Innovations, top three ideas selected for their practicality and alignment with CEPS’s green vision were:
- A "Green Work Environment" with reduced paper use and digital processes
- Smart mobility using electric bikes
- Reuse of medical equipment for educational purposes
The hackathon also featured a 3D printing workshop using a Snapmaker device funded through the project. Students explored 3D modeling and discussed its potential for eco-friendly applications in education and innovation.
A post-event survey (45 responses) showed high satisfaction and strong interest in more green initiatives, including workshops, eco-clubs, and curriculum integration. The event confirmed that students are key drivers of CEPS’s green transformation.
