Student Elif Ceren Kün from Maltepe University completed a two-month internship at the International Relations Office and Career Development at CEPS during the summer semester of the 2024/2025. academic year. During the internship, she actively participated in daily activities and gained valuable knowledge and experience that will be useful for her future professional development. Below, we share the student's experience:
„As part of the ERASMUS+ exchange program during spring semestar 2024/2025. year, I had the opportunity to do an internship at University College „CEPS“ in Kiseljak in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This process was an extremely valuable experience for me both academically and personally. During my time at CEPS , I felt extremely comfortable and safe thanks to the interest, hospitality and helpfulness of the teaching staff. Working with students from different countries in particular allowed me to experience intercultural interaction firsthand.
The city of Kiseljak was a quiet, safe place surrounded by natural beauty. The local people were extremely warm and understanding, which greatly facilitated my adaptation process. In addition, having the opportunity to get to know the historical and cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina up close was also very valuable to me. I would like to sincerely thank CEPS and the ERASMUS+ program for providing me with this valuable opportunity.
This experience provided me with not only academic knowledge; but also the opportunity to get to know a different culture, meet new people, develop self-confidence and overcome my personal boundaries.“
