On November 11, 2024, Professor Nermin Palić, QA Manager and Head of the International Relations Office at University College CEPS in Kiseljak, participated in the first National Round Table organized under the BuildSkills Academy project, held at the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo. This event was dedicated to verifying the strategic alignment of the BuiltEnrichedSkills (BESM) methodology for developing vocational education programs in the construction sector, with a focus on preparing the workforce for the dual (green and digital) transition.
The agenda began with opening remarks, followed by an introduction to the round table’s purpose. The BuiltEnrichedSkills methodology was presented, after which participants, divided into groups, discussed its adequacy and relevance for vocational education policies in Europe and specific labor market needs in the industry. Each group’s conclusions were presented to all participants, highlighting key findings and outlining next steps. The event concluded with networking, which further strengthened connections among representatives from educational institutions, relevant ministries, and industry.
Through Professor Palić’s participation, University College CEPS once again underscored its commitment to developing competencies aligned with the evolving demands of the labor market.
