Professor Nermin Palić, Head of the Transport Study Program at the University College "CEPS – Center for Business Studies" in Kiseljak, visited the company Interšped Logistics in Sarajevo, known for its long-standing tradition and experience in the field of freight forwarding and logistics. Interšped d.d. Sarajevo traces its roots back to one of the oldest business entities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, established in 1948 as the only domestic freight forwarding company in the country. Over the decades, the company has undergone numerous organizational transformations and remains the legal successor of the former state-owned enterprise Transjug.
During the visit, Professor Palić held a meeting with Director Elma Plasto Plećan, Elma Karagić, Assistant Director for Transport and Logistics, and Melisa Salkanović, Assistant Director for Legal, General Affairs, and Human Resources. Following the successful meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between CEPS and Interšped Logistics. The agreement includes the exchange of information, publication of joint materials, as well as the organization of seminars, workshops, and conferences. It also envisions the organization of study visits, implementation of student internships, and joint efforts to enhance the quality of higher education.
This collaboration represents a significant step in strengthening the link between the academic sector and the logistics industry, creating valuable opportunities for students and faculty at CEPS.
