During the period from March 16 to March 20, 2026, an Erasmus+ teaching staff week titled “Healthy Education for Everyone” was held at the University College “CEPS - Center for Business Studies” in Kiseljak, within the framework of Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3). Professors from the field of healthcare from partner institutions in Spain — Centro Educativo Aloya and RIBAMAR S.A.  joined our institution.

The Erasmus+ week program was opened with an institutional presentation of CEPS, after which the teachers from Spain presented the work of their home institutions, thereby laying the foundation for further cooperation and a deeper understanding of the academic profiles of the partners. Special emphasis was placed on the ongoing projects in which CEPS actively participates, providing the professors with a detailed insight into the research and infrastructural initiatives of the host institution.

In the practical part of the program, a workshop on physiotherapy in geriatrics was held, during which participants had the opportunity to analyze modern methods and specific therapeutic approaches used in the rehabilitation of elderly individuals.

One of the activities organized as part of the event was a visit to the Health Center in Kiseljak. During the tour of all departments and discussions with the director and staff, participants gained insight into the primary level of healthcare in our municipality. This exchange of experiences provided an opportunity to compare healthcare practices in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Spain, further strengthening the ties between the academic sector and real world healthcare.

The implementation of this Erasmus+ week once again confirmed the key role of CEPS in the processes of internationalization of higher education in Bosnia and Herzegovina. By adopting the most up-to-date European standards and strengthening partnerships, CEPS not only improves its own teaching processes but also directly contributes to the development of professional competencies that future healthcare professionals will apply in the local community.
