The University College “CEPS – Center for Business Studies” Kiseljak continues to strengthen its international cooperation through active participation in Erasmus+ projects, aiming to expand opportunities for students and staff and to develop a diverse network of partners. Within the framework of Erasmus+ KA171 mobility, CEPS organized the visit of young coaches from the foundation of the Spanish club RC Deportivo de La Coruña. The club was among the top teams in Spanish and European football in the early 2000s, including appearances in the UEFA Champions League, and featured renowned players such as Roy Makaay, Juan Carlos Valerón, Fran González, Mauro Silva, Diego Tristán, Bebeto, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina national team player Haris Medunjanin.

During the visit, young coaches Álex Espiñeira and Laura Mella toured the CEPS premises and practical training facilities, and held meetings with the Head of the Office for International Cooperation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nermin Palić, as well as other staff members. On that occasion, they exchanged knowledge and experience on the integration of sport and education, as well as on the development of international capacity-building projects. The mobility programme, coordinated by CEPS, aimed to connect the Spanish club with football institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The young coaches visited FK Željezničar, where they met with female students who arrived through CEPS for Erasmus+ student internships at the club. During the mobility week, a visit to NK Kiseljak was also organised, as well as visits to several football schools in Sarajevo and Mostar, enabling the exchange of good practices and further networking. This initiative confirms the role of CEPS as an active participant in international cooperation and contributes to strengthening collaboration between educational and sports institutions within the Erasmus+ framework.

The activities were also published on the official website of the Spanish club as well as on their social media channels. In this way, the visibility of our higher education institution has been further strengthened at the international level.
