University College “CEPS – Center for Business Studies” in Kiseljak had the honor of hosting a student from Spain during the summer semester of the 2025/2026 academic year as part of the ERASMUS+ program, which promotes mobility and academic exchange among higher education institutions across Europe.
Student Ahmed Quyyum, who comes from the partner institution Institut de Logistica de Barcelona (ILB), completed a two month internship at the International Relations and Career Development Office. During his engagement, he gained valuable practical experience in the field of international communication and improved his skills in collaborating with partner institutions from Europe and other parts of the world.
The stay at CEPS was further enriched by his active participation in numerous activities organized on the occasion of visits by Erasmus students and members of the academic staff, through which he contributed to strengthening international cooperation and intercultural exchange. Such mobility programs confirm CEPS commitment to enhancing international collaboration and improving the quality of education. Experiences like this contribute to the development of intercultural competencies and open up new opportunities for students and the institution as a whole.
We present in full the experience of a student from Barcelona at CEPS:
„Two months, one small town, and an experience I’ll never forget. I am grateful for every interaction with colleagues who have become friends. for every challenge that pushed me a little further than I thought I could go, and for every laugh in English, Spanish, and Bosnian that reminded me that connection doesn't need a perfect accent. I came to Kiseljak not knowing what to expect. I leave with a heart full of memories, a notebook full of lessons, and the quiet confidence that comes from stepping outside your comfort zone and finding people who make you feel at home. This was not just an internship. This was growth, in its most beautiful and unexpected form“.
Thanks, CEPS. Thanks, Kiseljak. 💛
