Representatives of University College “CEPS – Centre for Business Studies” Kiseljak, Director Doc. Dr. Mirzo Selimić and Head of the International Office Doc. Dr. Nermin Palić, participated in the SKILL2SUSTAIN Study Visit and Project Management Meeting hosted by the University of Novi Sad.
During the first two days, partners held working sessions at the Rectorate focused on project coordination and progress across key work packages. Discussions covered the assessment of needs for digital and green education in the Western Balkans (WP2), the establishment of Research and Education Centres (WP3), knowledge transfer activities and curriculum development (WP4), as well as dissemination and exploitation activities (WP7). The programme also included dedicated workshops on dissemination and financial reporting to support effective implementation and compliance with project requirements.
The study visit continued on 16–17 April with an in-depth exploration of the University of Novi Sad’s research and innovation ecosystem. Participants visited the Faculty of Technical Sciences – Department of Civil Engineering and Geodesy, where they were introduced to laboratory facilities, ongoing research projects, and applications in sustainable construction and resilience. A visit to the BioSense Institute showcased advanced work in digital agriculture and artificial intelligence, while EU-funded projects such as CHILD-AI and LivingLAB greenStudio 1.0 were presented as examples of good practice in project implementation and management.
The programme concluded with a series of thematic lectures by researchers from the University of Novi Sad, addressing key topics including digital tools for risk and damage assessment, climate-resilient systems, cross-border cooperation, and the green transition in the construction sector.
