On April 29, 2026, in the main hall of the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, the workshop titled “Networking for Green and Digital Transformation” was successfully held. The event was organized by the University College “CEPS – Center for Business Studies” Kiseljak and the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, within the framework of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building project SKILL2SUSTAIN.

The aim of the workshop was to strengthen digital and green competencies by connecting key stakeholders from academia, industry, and the public sector, while fostering collaboration in the context of the green and digital transition.

As part of the program, participants were introduced to the objectives and activities of the SKILL2SUSTAIN project, as well as the new CEPS study program in the field of Disaster Risk Management, which responds to the growing societal need for experts in this area.

The workshop was led by distinguished experts:

  • Assist. Prof. Nermin Palić, Phd, Head of International Cooperation at CEPS
  • Mirsad Jašarspahić, BSc in Mechanical Engineering, President of the Chamber of Commerce of FBiH
  • Emir Pašić, BSc in Economics, Head of the Center for International Cooperation and EU Funds at the Chamber of Commerce of FBiH

Special emphasis was placed on the interactive part of the program, which included the presentation of the REC activity plan and a workshop on the use of the networking platform.

Through practical work and discussion, participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences, develop new ideas for collaboration, and actively contribute to shaping future activities. Concrete opportunities for further cooperation between institutions and organizations were already identified during the workshop.

The final part of the event was dedicated to an open discussion, drawing conclusions, and defining next steps, with the aim of further strengthening partnerships and implementing sustainable solutions in the field of green and digital transformation.

Participation in the workshop confirmed the importance of such initiatives for competency development, networking, and joint action towards building a more resilient and sustainable society.
