The CEPS FORMULA team represented the University College “CEPS – Center for Business Studies” Kiseljak at this year’s Red Bull Soapbox Race in Sarajevo, held on 6 September 2026, bringing together the CEPS Director, a professor, and students of the Transport and Traffic Engineering Study Programme in a shared challenge that combined creativity, engineering knowledge, teamwork, and positive energy.
The team consisted of Prof. Mirzo Selimić, Director of CEPS; Prof. Nermin Palić, Head of the Transport and Traffic Engineering Study Programme; and students Dario Šušnja, Tarik Ljuca (driver), and Vedad Šahić. Together, they presented their vehicle, aptly named “CEPS TRKAČICA”, inspired by the slogan “Formula 1 for Balkan Conditions.”
Participation in this exciting event provided an opportunity to take knowledge, creativity, and team spirit beyond the classroom and apply them in a completely different and challenging environment. The team demonstrated that knowledge, enthusiasm, creativity, and the Bosnian spirit of determination are an excellent combination for any race.
The participation of CEPS FORMULA in the Red Bull Soapbox Race represents another example of CEPS’s commitment to providing students with experiences that go beyond traditional educational activities, fostering teamwork, innovation, the practical application of knowledge, and stronger connections within the academic community.
