CEPS PRESENTED THE SKILL2SUSTAIN PROJECT AND A NEW STUDY PROGRAM AT THE SARAJEVO INDUSTRY FAIR & ARHI BAU EXPO

Doc. Dr. Nermin Palić, professor at the University College of Business Studies “CEPS – Center for Business Studies” Kiseljak, participated in the panel discussion “Protection of Critical Infrastructure in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” held within the third International Construction and Industry Fair “Sarajevo Industry Fair & Arhi Bau Expo” at the Skenderija Center in Sarajevo.

The panel addressed the challenges of protecting critical infrastructure in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a particular focus on disaster risk management and strengthening institutional and professional capacities for prevention, preparedness, and response to natural and other hazards. The importance of education and continuous training of professionals was highlighted as a key prerequisite for improving risk management systems and enhancing overall societal resilience.

As part of his presentation, Doc. Dr. Nermin Palić introduced the Erasmus+ CBHE project SKILL2SUSTAIN, implemented by CEPS in cooperation with domestic and international partners. The audience was presented with the project’s achieved results as well as its planned future activities.

Special emphasis was placed on the new study program Disaster Risk Management, developed within the SKILL2SUSTAIN project, which will be available to students starting from the 2026/2027 academic year.

The “Sarajevo Industry Fair & Arhi Bau Expo” was held from June 2 to 4, 2026, bringing together around 70 companies, sponsors, and partners.

This event represented an excellent opportunity to present the SKILL2SUSTAIN project to professional and business audiences, as well as to promote CEPS’s new educational programs.
