On 5 June 2026, an INFO DAY dedicated to the promotion of the NCP_WIDERA.NET project and the opportunities offered by the Horizon Europe programme was held at the University College “CEPS – Center for Business Studies” Kiseljak. The event gathered more than 50 participants from the academic, public, and private sectors. The INFO DAY was preceded by the presentation of the project at the international online session “Horizon Europe Info Session – WIDERA & NCP Support”, organised within the framework of the EU for Digital Transformation in Bosnia and Herzegovina (EU4DT) project. The session was attended by more than 30 representatives of institutions, organisations, and other stakeholders actively engaged or planning to engage in the preparation and implementation of Horizon Europe projects.
During the INFO DAY, Assoc. Prof. Mirzo Selimić presented the objectives and activities of the NCP_WIDERA.NET project, as well as the support opportunities available to researchers and institutions seeking to participate in Horizon Europe. Particular attention was given to upcoming WIDERA calls and the strengthening of research capacities through international cooperation and networking.
Assoc. Prof. Nermin Palić introduced the available support mechanisms, including participation in Brokerage Events, Proposal Pre-screening Evaluation services, and the use of the NCP_WIDERA.NET Experts platform. The event also featured the announcement of the upcoming workshop “NCP_WIDERA.NET FOR BEGINNERS”, designed for researchers interested in improving their knowledge and increasing their success in preparing Horizon Europe project proposals.
