The Administrative Board of the University College “CEPS – Center for Business Studies” Kiseljak has officially approved the establishment of the Research and Education Center (REC) within the Knowledge Hub for Climate and Sustainability (KHCS). The Center has been established as part of the Erasmus+ project “Skill2Sustain – Boosting Digital and Green Skills for a Resilient and Sustainable Western Balkan Society”, funded by the European Union. REC will serve as a multidisciplinary platform for education, research, innovation, and knowledge transfer, bringing together academic staff, students, industry representatives, public institutions, and external experts.
The mission of REC is to strengthen education, research, and innovation through the development of green and digital competencies, while fostering collaboration between academia, industry, and the public sector. Through educational programs, lifelong learning initiatives, research projects, conferences, networking activities, and advisory services, REC aims to contribute to sustainable development and the modernization of higher education. Guided by principles of sustainability, digitalization, innovation, and international cooperation, the Center aspires to become a recognized regional hub of excellence for green and digital transition, supporting students, professionals, and institutions in addressing contemporary societal and economic challenges.
