The University College “CEPS – Center for Business Studies” Kiseljak, through the NCP_WIDERA.NET Horizon Europe project, is launching a Public Call for financial support to participate in brokerage events organized under Pillar II (Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness) of the Horizon Europe Programme, including the six thematic clusters and European Partnerships under Pillar II.

The objective of this support scheme is to increase both the number and quality of Horizon Europe applications submitted by applicants from Bosnia and Herzegovina, particularly under Pillar II, and to strengthen their capacity to participate successfully in the Horizon Europe Programme. The scheme supports participation in international brokerage events, organized as in-person networking events, which provide opportunities to identify project partners, develop collaborative project ideas, and exchange knowledge and experience related to Horizon Europe projects.

Applicants may nominate up to three participants per event. The maximum amount of financial support is up to EUR 1,000 per participant to cover eligible travel and accommodation costs. Where an applicant nominates more than one participant, at least one participant must be a woman. During the duration of this Public Call, the same participant may receive support a maximum of two times, while the same applicant (legal entity) may receive support up to three times.

Funding under this Public Call is provided through the Horizon Europe project "Transnational Network of National Contact Points (NCPs) for Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area" (NCP_WIDERA.NET, Grant Agreement No. 101055286), in which the University College “CEPS – Center for Business Studies” Kiseljak participates as a project partner.

The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the capacities of National Contact Points (NCPs) in the WIDERA programme area to support less experienced stakeholders in EU Member States and Associated Countries with relatively lower participation in the EU Framework Programme (the so-called Widening Countries), thereby facilitating their access to Horizon Europe funding opportunities.

This Public Call is implemented as part of Work Package 8 (WP8 – Advancing Europe Package Support) of the NCP_WIDERA.NET project.

Eligible applicants are legal entities registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including, but not limited to:

  • Public authorities;
  • Universities and higher education institutions;
  • Faculties;
  • Research organisations;
  • Companies and SMEs;
  • Local and regional self-government authorities;
  • Associations and non-governmental organisations;
  • Registered sole proprietorships and other eligible legal entities.

Applicants should intend to identify partners for an existing or future Horizon Europe proposal, present their project idea at a brokerage event, or showcase examples of good practice. Further information is provided below in this Call.
