The organizers of the International Scientific Conference, the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the University College "CEPS - Center for Business Studies" Kiseljak, invite researchers, academic staff, and practitioners to submit their papers for the International Scientific Conference on the Management of Risks from Natural and Anthropogenic Disasters – “Knowledge Network.”
CONFERENCE OBJECTIVE
The objective of the International Scientific Conference on the Management of Risks from Natural and Anthropogenic Disasters – “Knowledge Network” is to bring together researchers, academic staff, practitioners, representatives of competent institutions, and other relevant organizations in order to exchange scientific and professional knowledge, experiences, and contemporary approaches in the field of prevention, assessment, risk reduction, and management of natural and anthropogenic disasters.
Through an interdisciplinary approach, the scientific conference will open up space for the presentation of contemporary scientific achievements, examples of good practice and innovative solutions, with a special focus on prevention, preparedness, response, recovery and strengthening of society's resilience. The special value of the conference is reflected in the construction of a "knowledge network" that connects the academic community, institutions and practice and encourages long-term cooperation and the development of scientifically based solutions.
THEMATIC AREAS FOR PAPER SUBMISSIONS:
- Disaster risk assessment and management in the context of climate change
- Prevention, risk reduction, and building resilience against new threats
- Modern technologies and innovations in disaster management
- Early warning systems, disaster preparedness and response
- Natural, technical-technological, and anthropogenic disasters.
