The CORE-ED Academy project consortium has successfully completed the activities of Work Package 4 (WP4) by developing 10 complete Packages of Training Guides and Manuals in the field of correctional pedagogy. Two sets of competence-based curricula were developed: one for Higher Education (Pre-service Learners) and another for Professionals (In-service Practitioners) working in the correctional sector.
For each of the 10 competence areas, dedicated modules were developed, including learning outcomes, course content, practical activities, teaching methodologies, and assessment methods. The modules apply modern educational approaches, including blended learning, problem-based learning, and work-based learning.
WP4 also included the development of an assessment methodology and quiz bank, an e-learning platform and digital library, guides and manuals for students, teachers, trainers, and employers, as well as the adaptation and translation of all courses into the national languages of the partner countries and English.
