In the period from 13-16 June 2023. director of the University College "CEPS-Center for Business Studies" Kiseljak Doc. dr. Mirzo Selimić and the head of the Traffic and Transport Engineering study program, Ph.D. Nermin Palić were visiting Lund University in Sweden. The visit was organized within the 1FUTURE project financed by the European Union as part of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education Action program. During the visit, a various program was offered with many insights into the activities that Lund University carries out from the aspect of sustainability, adaptation to climate change and other similar topics. During the stay, host provided an overview of Lund University initiatives for sustainable campus and university services after which a tour of the campus was arranged. Different departments of the University presented many practices related to sustainable development based on the needs and behavior of students, innovation, and also they presented teaching practices and cross-disciplinary projects in the field of sustainability.
On behalf of University College CEPS Kiseljak, Ph.D. Nermin Palić presented the practices that are currently being implemented in terms of climate change and sustainability. After that, director Doc. dr. Mirzo Selimić highlighted the future development plans of University College CEPS Kiseljak. This information will serve as the basis for developing an action plan at the end of work package 2 (WP2).
This was a very insightful visit, from which we take a lot of useful information for the continuation of institutional development in the direction of sustainability and climate change.
